author, lecturer, screenwriter

Writer/producer Ethlie Ann Vare has helped shape such popular television shows as GENE RODDENBERRY’S ANDROMEDA, ADVENTURE INC. and the JANE DOE mystery movies on the Hallmark Channel. She has written for everything from CSI to VIP. A former rock journalist, Ethlie also worked in front of the camera as a “music gossip” on E! Entertainment Television. Yet, surprisingly, she is an award-winning historian, whose books and lectures about women inventors are lauded worldwide.

Her latest book is LOVE ADDICT: SEX, ROMANCE AND OTHER DANGEROUS DRUGS (HCI Books, Sept. 2011),a funny book about a serious subject. LOVE ADDICT is available at all booksellers - brick, virtual and otherwise. In 2012, Ethlie will be speaking on the topic of sexual compulsions and toxic relationships (including her own, unfortunately) at conferences and on talk shows around the country.
